My passion for mosaic art evolved from a long-time fascination with tiles. It was while I was seeking a new creative direction that I discovered mosaics.
I began with smaller items such as pots, mirrors, etc., then progressed to more intricate designs: murals, wall pieces, tables, photo frames and more.
While I especially enjoy working with glass tiles and stained glass, I employ many other materials. Marble, pebbles, china, wood, porcelain and more can be found in my work.
The wealth of materials that can be used in the mosaic process means there is always something new to try out and to learn about.
My work is shown and sold at Chicago-area art shows and at Artisans-21 Gallery in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood.
